for what it's worth, from my end: I clicked the link on the email and ended up on the accor website, where it put me on Fast Track, as I mentioned earlier. I then used the link to the QF website provided earlier in this thread and got the QF email saying I've now been registered for ALL Gold...

Does your ALL status show as "fast track"? I think I had the same issue: I'm P1, was already linked, tried to subscribe and didn't get gold instantly, just fast track silver (as I was ALL silver already). Hadn't realised I'd have to wait a month. Happy to book as I'm not traveling until...

P1, clicked on the email link, just got a "subscribe now" button, and just shows I'm on fast track with still my ALL silver status, no ALL gold yet. Wonder what happened there, will check in a few days in case it changed.

same boat, P1 expires 31st May, booked classic reward flights for July on 24th May, no change in status so far, thinking of ringing by Friday - though some replies here about waiting are calming to an extent :)

Got recognised once this year, apart from upgrades, on a SYD-MEL in 4C the CM said hi and shook my hand and that of the pax in 4D (also P1 from what I could see). When flying EK I usually get the cabin staff come and say hi. I don't get any extra food or amenity kit, but nice gesture.

you can fly EK metal on QF code and get SC and points. When you make a multi-city booking on the QF website you need to look at the results for each leg and then look at "other flights" (or similar option for each leg) as by default the QF website will try and put you on a QF metal flight. You...

depends, on day flights I prefer aisle access, night flights I prefer being window so I don't get bumped by/hear people in the aisle

Got a shadow on MEL-CBR on row 4, and upgrade from row 4 to 1C on CBR-MEL. Bit of a waste on such a short trip, but as it was my 1st month of P1, I appreciated it :) Also got the NGV dinner in Melbourne, that was quite nice as well.
