I'm a little torn on whether to move my points to Krisflyer or Asia Miles. I've never used Asia Miles before and they look like a pretty good option - QF availability and lower surcharges than KF. But as I understand it no way to move them elsewhere if I don't use all of them

Yes - I tried earlier in the week and was told to call back within 48 hours of departure

I was able to select Y seats over the phone 48 hours prior to departure.

MY guess is they are just waiting until it all blows over
