Have we given up on Avalon? Seems like Budget and Avis close at 4pm yet there are two flights after that each day. I thought Avalon would have been growing in flights with Bonza and covid being over.

It sounds like staff travel is similar to award flights. You can fly anywhere solo. Perhaps even premium or business. But a family of 4 or more? no chance.

Raises the question. How much is an average ticket from Sydney to Melbourne. Would you assume AU$300 for a ticket? Or are you booking more than a week from now and could take a flight for AU$200? (I've rounded up to include credit card charges, bags, etc) I believe ID90 is of a full Y ticket...

Qf81 seems to have shrunk back to a 330 instead of the a380 for 7th august
