Agree, something strange with more availably being offered on connecting routings. If you were to search DBO(for instance)-SYD-PER i bet better availability would show up.

Seems that the region as edging towards wider conflict, doesn't bode well for air travel / flight paths through the region. Where are QF getting the SIN slots from to add the tech stop? (if this should become longer term......)

So ausbt is reporting the new travel money card will be a separate card to the frequent flyer card - expect a visa pre load cash type card. Seems a bit of a step backwards that it can’t be integrated into one card although there isn’t really a need for a frequent flyer card anymore.

But maybe less people have LHR as their final destination or are prepared to transit via LHR as they used to be, hence offering Rome and Paris.

It’s not like QF removed the SIN option though QF37 has been reinstated and connects well to QF1.

Why would anyone want to endure that after flying 24 hours from Australia.

Looks like limited to border areas / Sinai peninsula as aircraft as they seem to be tracking down the Red Sea before turning into Saudi. AF257 from SIN is indeed diverting to CAI - guessing fuel related

What’s interesting is pax flying on QF tickets but EK metal to Europe, which are flying the route that QF has deemed too risky….

Due to the detour around the hostilities QF9 is cancelled and will operate with a tech stop instead via SIN as QF209. QF10 is still direct for now. Be interesting to see how long this lasts and if CDG would be unable to fly direct The domestic sectors are generally not operating.
