Really hating the redesign of the Velocity website. Everything is now harder to find, and the site seems even more temperamental than it was before (that might be hard to believe I know!).

I have noticed this a few times as well, usually when it is a male FA, but like all things on VA it's hit and miss.

Agreed on this, last time I was there I also thought that there was a lot of wasted space across that entire area that could have been better utilised by all the lounges.

I went with Europcar, and they are absolutely hopeless. The status and benefits in Australia are non-existent. Their customer service/complaints people are very good at replying in a condescending arrogant way that just makes you even angrier. They used to have better vehicles but I've noticed...

Agree this would not have been a nice experience at all, and not comforting to think this could happen to us anytime too. Keep pursuing this with QF, as they should be able to determine what actually happened here. I find the gate agents comments a bit weird, and when these type of events occur...

Not asking for exceptions, the point I am making is that QF give Gold/Plat in domestic economy 2 x 32kg, whereas VA just give 2/3 x 23kg. Quite often you'll just have one bag that is a little bit over 23, on QF that's fine, on VA it isn't.

No they are absolute naz_s with this. A very annoying drawback to VA Plat compared to QF Plat.

I had some guest passes courtesy of AMEX Velocity card. No use to me as I'm Plat, but my wife tried using it when she was on her own once (she had my card), and nope you can't transfer them like that. The owner of the passes needs to be present to use them (which if you are Gold/Plat renders...
