Just on this, On QF93 next week, First time to the US, 1 hr 45 turnaround to continue onwards to JFK.
What are my chances of even making it to the lounge at LAX for a quick shower? Any tips other than to run like hell to Immigration?

I have heard that all guests travelling on the same booking managed by a OW Ruby passenger they all received the complimentary first bag, however I cannot for the life of me find this anywhere in their allowances.
Might make a quick call to AA to clarify!
Just a quick query regarding entitlements for a OW Ruby flyer. I understand complimentary baggage is offered for the 1st bag however does this extend to another person listed on the same booking?
Are there any other perks that I should be aware of?

Have a look around Long Island City.
Hilton Home 2 Suites Long Island City ... 3 subway stops from Times Square, there is also the Z NYC which even provide a free hourly bus into Manhattan. Both at a fraction of the price of a central Manhattan hotel and much nicer IMHO.
