Booked a J award MEL-PER & have just received an email saying there is no IFE. Is this a regular thing with VA and I guess there is no chance they will offer some points back as a gesture of goodwill?

Looks like todays QF 780 MEL-PER which was scheduled to be an A330 has been cancelled. I fly out to MEL Wednesday morning on a 737 & when I had a look at the seat map at T-80 there was no spare seats anywhere. Going to be hard to accommodate those QF780 passengers?

Vetroblue Airport Apartments offer a pick up & drop off service which is free if you book direct or $5 each way if through 3rd party. Drop offs I think start at 3am & are done every 45mins, pick ups you call but there will be a wait. https://airportapartments.com.au/

Thanks @JessicaTam , yes they are on the same PNR. Will have a look at cheap hotel options relatively close to the airport, a lot harder to find than they used to be!

I have booked a couple of J award flights via VA with SQ, my first time flying with SQ. They are SQ226 PER-SIN arriving 1910hrs & then SQ308 SIN-LHR departing at 0900hrs, so just under 14hrs layover time. Just a couple of quick questions Will my luggage be checked through to LHR? Stay airside...

I’ve used them a few times, can sometimes get good Cashback offers up to around 15-20%. I also do a search on the title line as the operators often advertise on more than one platform or have their own site, prices can vary quite a bit!

As per @There'sOnlyOneJimmy post use RJ website to verify. I found Finnair pretty good as well as it listed all the ticket numbers that had at some point been associated with the PNR.
