Thanks for the prompt reply...I wasn't actually referring to travel agents, but "travel agents" (or people who buy points from others with the intent of possibly consolidating and buying a ticket for a non-relative..if you get my drift?)....So the "award" suddenly becomes a commercial...

I too am interested in 2 x F/R MEL-LHR mid next year....so looking for a bit of advice on the process....The flights I'm looking for (daytime MEL-SIN) are always Saver waitlist..and the A380 (SIN-LHR) is Saver waitlist...so when I attempt to book do I search MEL-LHR and waitlist for 2...

Just a general question.....how long is an A380 out of service normally for refurbishment?

Hi...looking at taking an QF classic award PRA - KRA ...on Airberlin...so it transits via TXL.......would my luggage be checked all the way through? Reason I ask is that the flight arrives into TXL about midday and then onto KRA about 21:00....so would I be able to travel into Berlin for a bit...

Wasn't big noting...just trying to ascertain if even if you get an express pass, is it realistic to get through customs etc at LHR and into the city for a train in two hours?...I'm panicking about giving myself only 4 hrs...anyone any experience here?

You are brave...I'm flying F...arriving 0720 ..and taking an 1130 intercity train!!...remember it's LHR!...not sure an express pass would even help if you received one

Hi....flying EY Diamond First MEL - LHR - MEL (actually via SYD code share VA as the direct flight arrival time LHR didn't suit..and we wanted to try the EY lounge in SYD) in Sept in "R" class x 2 (wife).we have no status with anyone...although I family pool to her in Velocity... With R class...
