    I had it on a DJS Amex where they stated they couldn’t reactivate it. I wasn’t phased so didn’t argue the point but wouldn’t have liked it on a card where I wanted to keep

    I tried the cancelling trick today. Went through with cancellation then got told no offers on account. Called back later to ask whether account can be reinstated to be advise no, would have to reapply again. Told them not to worry about it. This was on a DJ's Amex card. Bye Bye Amex!
