SYD-DUB... showing on "where can you go" but not able to book?

Interesting that it shows BA16 as two sectors. If it was me, I'd try a multi-city search with: 1) SYD-SIN, SIN-LHR and LHR-DUB as separate sectors. 2) SYD-LHR and LHR-DUB as separate sectors. 3) SYD-SIN and SIN-DUB as separate sectors. 1659661393 Interesting that it shows BA16 as two sectors...

    Discussion of fuel dumps

You can dump 50% of this carrier on C6-C2 using many common 3Xs. Does this 1X look after 100% of the YQ?

BA Europe to SYD - <$1000AUD RT

The cheapest fares I've found are ex MAD (MAD-MEL-LHR) at $1070 AUD. Have you managed to find any originating cities cheaper than that?

    Discussion of fuel dumps

I have a similar problem with BA C6-C3 even though it can be 50% dumped on C6-C1. Yet to find a successful dump for SQ.

Lots of new QF flights to the USA/South America,

I wondered the same thing about JFK, but took a closer look at the schedule and saw that LAX-JFK has had an extra 45 min built into the LAX-JFK schedule (current dep 0855 arr 1705, planned dep 0855 arr 1750) with the JFK-LAX schedule leaving JFK 10 min later and arriving at LAX the same time...

Qantas to boost Melbourne-Los Angeles flights

Interesting how EK codeshare flights are generally the QF code + 5000 except on the services beyond Dubai (which are 5101, 5102, 5109 and 5110). I would have thought that, as a result, QF would avoid using these specific numbers (101, 102, 109 and 110).

    In guam at the moment.

I did boomy; I've tried Au-HKG-NRT-GUM and Au-NRT-GUM. It's not an issue with award availability but, rather, that maximum permitted mileage gets exceeded. Apparently they run all awards through a computer to "check mileage" then, when that flags the mileage, they call their fares desk which...

    In guam at the moment.

I am struggling to make a SYD-NRT-GUM itinerary on QF/JL and have tried 5 agents. Purchased my miles prior in order to make these bookings. Wondering whether to dispute the miles purchase via AMEX given that it we can't use it to make the award bookings promised on the chart (Au to Guam).

QF A380 to DFW; QF9/10 retiming

I would have thought that increasing BNE-HKG to daily would have signaled an intention to keep BNE as an international port. The 747 on BNE-SIN, I read somewhere, had more to do with keeping a W product on the route to connect to LHR than origin-destination BNE to SIN demand.

QF A380 to DFW; QF9/10 retiming

I doubt it; running QF8 nonstop DFW-SYD rules out the 744ER.

Airasia special business class fares for taxes only on certain departures

Re: Super Cheap Air Asia Premium Deal Just adding my thanks to the OP. Coupled a $155 SYD-KUL with the EY KUL-AUH-MEL fare discussed on this site for a very cheap getaway to Europe.

    QF9 / 10 retiming in November 2014

QF94 currently arrives into MEL at 0920 and QF93 departs at 1010. If it runs much later than 1010, it will not have enough time at LAX to allow the LAX-JFK-LAX shuttle flight to operate. The current schedule allows: - about 2 hours for a QF93 to QF107 connection - 105 minutes at JFK for...

    QF9 / 10 retiming in November 2014

Yes - an 0600 departure from MEL would arrive into LHR at 1900; that leaves enough time to form either a 2130 or 2230 departure towards Australia as QF2. Relative to my suggestion above, this involves a longer layover at MEL and a shorter layover at LHR. The short layover at LHR may be a problem...

    QF9 / 10 retiming in November 2014

There is an EK A380 DXB-SYD at this time that arrives at SYD just before the curfew; the arrival forms the 0600 SYD-DXB service. As you mentioned, the DXB-KUL-MEL flight also leaves towards the later end of the same bank.

Qantas SYD&MEL to SIN $510 ret ($410 through .br site)

I didn't know you could still do LHR flights in the Au-LHR-Au direction. Last year I nested an LHR-Au-LHR ticket ($700 AUD) within a MEL-LHR-MEL ticket.
