But getting back to the post, a lot of senior citizen's groups have slammed this idea, because they feel that it is being discriminatory against them (e.g. if they have no driver's licence etc.). I can see where they're coming from, because my grandparents never had a car and never left the UK...

SABENA - such a bloody experience, never again :) I only ever had one flight on them, then they folded...so I can't really comment because my opinion is based on one flight :)

With an annual fee of $2,800, IMHO, the benefits will have to be pretty damn good. I'm sorry, but I just regard high price tags like this with a bit of scepticism in what I get - Bang for your buck ? Which begs the question - what are they, and if you are invited to have it, are they worth...
