    From my experience in First (and I’ve flown in a few airlines, including Singapore) I would pick Emirates as no.1. Excellent service, including the availability of a shower and luxury transfers at each end of the journey (Business travelers too) seal it for me.

    How many people actually fly F in their lives?

    We’ve, as a couple, had no trouble using points to fly F, but I think you need to be flexible with dates. In a few weeks we’ll be flying with Emirates, Zurich to Singapore - a few nights in Singapore - then Qantas home to Melbourne.
