Amex via ApplePay rejected by POS terminals

I have had opposite of your experience: physical AmEx being temperamental whilst ApplePay works flawlessly (where AmEx is accepted of course).

The Master SQ Guide (Krisflyer, Waitlists & Waitlists Clearing)

I have recent experience (on multiple occasions) when SQ sends a deadline for ticketing of the 'reserved' legs, even though the rest of the trip is on waitlist. If not ticketed in the timeframe provided, SQ proactively drops the reserved legs from the PNR! :-( On a couple of occasions I called...

Return award flight with one leg waitlisted

Previously the entire booking would remain the int waitlist status till the waitlist is cleared or rejected. Recently, however, SQ seems to want me to book the available leg and then wait for the waitlisted legs. SQ has proactively set a deadline for booking and then drop the available leg from...

DEFT rent payment on amex - earn points?

I see. Your calculation is not 'cost of points', it is your 'cost of paying your bill'. You end up being about $400 out of pocket for paying a $100,000 bill. You will not have any 'points' left as you would have liquidated the points to reduce your out of pocket cash.

DEFT rent payment on amex - earn points?

I cannot quite follow how you got to the figure of 0.4%? Based on your example: "1.5% surcharge, ... ($100,000 ... spend is $1,500 of fee; 225,000 MR points...". If you transfer the MR points at 2:1, it equates to 112,500 points. That is about 1.1% for 'cost of points'.

Any suggestions on using Krisflyer Points India to Europe

SQ web site is not the best option to search for *alliance availability. Use United or other tools to search for availability and then call SQ to book. You might, for example, find availability to Paris via Frankfurt (e.g. Air India to FR and then Lufthansa to Paris; all on the same SQ award...

I tried it again just now (dry run for a A$10 transfer). Wise did not fair well:

Shouldn't you get access because of the class of travel (regardless of your status)?

    Citi & International fund transfer

I did a dry-run of a $1,000 transfer 2 days ago and CBA and NAB came out better than Wise! I just tried it now and Wise came out on top. So it seems I just need to time it right!

    Citi & International fund transfer

Now that Citi AUS is its last few days, I am in need to an international fund transfer system. Let me explain: I have bank accounts in both AU and US. There are (rather frequent) times I need to pay off bills in the US. I use my US bank accounts to pay off my US bills. Up until now I have used...

Short paid Amex by a few cents. Will Amex charge late fee and interest on full balance if paid the following day?

I believe they will only charge interest on the balance you carry on daily basis. Pending you have paid the balance of the previous statement in full, you get the interest-free period till the day of the next statement. So, I presume, you will only be charged interest on whatever the balance is...
