HI all,
I know that some airlines, particularly American companies, allow you to buy a cheap upgrade to business class at the check-in if there are enough empty seats available. Does anyone konw if Air Canada does this too?
THANKS
No, I have an Australian Citibank Business card with 1:1.25 points. Problem is it is capped at 80K points and unlike some other posters who have said that they often don't enforce this, with me thay did most strickly. So for the moment I have a credit limit of $24K and a balance of $0 because...
Hi Timmy, I've flown a few times to Europe First with QF/BA but only once with my wife and it did take a lot of searching to get them. I've opted to go Singapore Airlines a couple of times even though their points are much more expensive. In April I'm going to Europe again with my wife and I got...
The annual Fee is the normal gold card annual fee of $119.00. The card is in my name and not in a business name. PS I also took out a "No Fee For Life: card after they gave me this card just for the sake of having it.
I flew to Paris and back in 7 days for a 30 minute medical procedure on my hands. The frivolous part was I did it First class in Singapore airlines and shouted my daughter to come with me too. Cost a few points though.

If the changes are to be anything like that which happened with Air New Zealand I am worried. Yes, you can book any seat that is available but they are generally much more expensive than say Qantas. I think the conversion rate they used when changing over from the old points to Airpoint Dollars...
Thank you Simon,
That helps a lot. Another question:
I will be arriving at Frankfurt on Thai airways First Class and would like to do the same thing. Is there a lounge you can use after collecting the bags?
Thanks Again
Glenn
Hi All,
I noticed on BA site that they mentioned after ariving at Heathrow on First Class that you could go to their lounge to refresh and take a shower before leaving the airport. My question is, what happens to your luggage during this time? Having a shower would be great but leaving your bags...
