Didn't refund shipping this time for me after emailing. Said St Henri deal was too good and free shipping didn't apply :( Might be just my broker... let me know if anyone had any success.

Very average deals again this month. Walked away 3 months in a row already.

I suggest not. Good wine, good vintage and poor resale value. Their cabs are also much better than their shiraz imo. Their more recent reserve cabs are even better if you're willing to fork out $60.

I generally stay away from wines with no prior history, winemaker details, vineyard or provenance. Where you're missing these, it sounds like Joe Bloggs goes to some overstocked, struggling winery in SA .... buys up their cleanskins, pops a couple of labels on them with a website, then sends...

If you love MR Cabernet load up on the 2018 Amelia Park Reserve Cab Sav. Tried and loved that wine during a recent tasting. Not super cheap but it’s a nice drop. Cant remember the cab merlot. Pity I’m not on finewinco.

Had a 2012 RSR the other night with the cheap agglomerate cork. Cork was so clean you'll think it's a year old. Either they store them standing upright or it's freshly sealed. I believe the latter. TBH - wine was half decent (bigger wine) but for the price I much prefer the Reshke Bos...

I quite liked the pursuit for a mid week drink. Medium body, lighter style for a Coonawarra. Sweet American oak.

2017 Twisted Trunk was definitely screw cap. Bought twice from GWD. I was surprised too it came in s/c because prior vintages were in cork. You might have got the premium ones if you got cork. Maybe diff markets.
