I got it from this post and the next couple including the one that I quoted from yourself that I mentioned above:

Regarding your tip, can you confirm that during the initial 24 hour window only the date/time can be changed but after that the route can be modified?
Also, do you have to purchase the initial ticket using a GV or can you purchase it directly?
Thanks.
In what way do you want me to expand?
I'm simply suggesting that you look for flights from SYD to either ADL or HBA as you can definitely get J seats all of the way and there are more flights available in J than on the CBR route that you've been looking at.
Is your 24 hours up? Did you try and change your flight since then and, if so, were you able to change the other information and not just the date?
Thanks.

I successfully used Skybus tickets bought using a promo card at Pelago the other day. I doubled-up with a Shopback cashback too.
My Westpac Altitude card is currently offering 20% promo with Pelago. Something you may want to check if you're planning on using Skybus soon.
Here are a couple, untried, offers that can reduce the cost. Pelgao, the Singapore associated travel site, allow you to buy Skybus tickets.
At the moment Amex holders might have a spend $100 get $35 back offer with Pelago.
Pelago allows you to buy 3 x return Skybus tickets for $35 each so $105...
It's not a footbridge at Broadmeadows but a tunnel under the line with slopes rather than steps so pretty easy with luggage.

No different from most Melburnians and visitors.
Yes, ridiculous rates. I take the Broadmeadow route unless I have a discounted ticket.
Appalling that they are so in league with the VIC government that their private service appears on government transport maps and is the first option that appears on the PTV app.
