I agree … I think Qantas has missed an opportunity with regards to IFE, especially as the A220 can be deployed on some unique bespoke overseas missions.

I’ve found the latest update to the Qantas app quite slow. It’s takes about 5 minutes to sync up after opening the app. It’s quite annoying before boarding to show your boarding pass.
Considering fleet age as a metric is entirely useful for predicting reliability and costs associated with maintenance . For example the 717 fleet is the most unreliable part of the Qantas operations. Additionally, costs with regards to maintenance also increases with the fleet age.
I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this, but whenever I travel on international business with my partner, I seating allocation always gets changed. I noticed this travelling to Jakarta over Christmas where my original seats 2K/3K got changed on 2F/2K on an equipment change. The funny...
