Haven’t bought from VM for a while but would have pounced!
Drinking a bottle of the 12 Shiraz Viognier as I type... so good!
Anyone about in Sydney want to swap for a case of 13 Amelia Park?
Hi all. Thanks for the tip off, now Oneworld Sapphire. Don’t expect to be flying much over the next year, apart from domestic and Pacific.
A few questions if anyone can assist?
Does Sapphire give you Qantas Club lounge access if flying Jetstar? If flying Qantas Classic Reward flight? Domestic...
May I ask a question? I've having a great deal of difficulty getting a refund for my Etihad flights, Sydney to London and Dublin to Sydney, via Abu Dhabi (stopover) both ways. Etihad cancelled my flights on 3 April, my first flight was due to depart 14 April. Can I claim under EC 261/2004? and...
It was clearly never meant to apply to involuntary cancellations originally. Aunt Betty and Flight Centre have only recently 'clarified' the T&C to say the fee applies to both. It is being challenged with a number of consumer bodies and I would be surprised if they get away with it.
When I checked Aunt Betty’s website today there was a link to a Google form you could submit that includes the option of requesting a refund, possibly due to change in policy by some airlines eg Singapore Airlines. Things are changing, a bit of consumer pushback?
Just checked Etihad’s Covid-19 policy page and they are now offering refunds for ‘US UK and EU originated tickets’! What happened to our consumer rights??? This in addition to Singapore Airlines now offering refunds to all.
The only reason I know my flights with Etihad were cancelled is because Etihad emailed me. I've heard nothing from Aunt Betty. I also didn't know what the fare rules for my flights are because Aunt Betty neglected to pass this on as well. No way to contact them except a phone queue for over a...
Got my chargeback request submitted on the second attempt. The rationale for refusing is that Australian businesses can't override Australian government directives or regulations. Not applicable as far as I can see. There was nothing to stop Etihad running their flights from the AU government.
