You may be in luck as your status tracker still shows you working to retain WP. With the glitch I've had the banner incorrectly says you've retained the higher status but the tracker below shows the correct status you've fallen back to (in this case you'd expect to see SG). This could just be...

Not to sure about the seat selection. But as for the call centre AFAIK the priority is allocated from your QFF# when you input it at the start of the call so if you don't hild QFF Silver that may not work. Although I'm not sure if there is another way through to the QF call centre through a OW line?

I agree, it does seem odd that they would be cancelling it this early on if it were due only to poor sales. I wonder if any other services have been similarly affected. At least you have been given an agreeable alternative and at no additional cost.

This has been a little frustrating for me as well, especially when I sometimes have flights booked by the client, so I don't even know if they are e-deals of flexi. I have sometimes found it on itineraries generated by a travel agent, but these days I just grab the ref. no. and go straight to MMB.
