QF has stopped triaging repeat callers to more experienced operators. They are also pushing staff to complete calls in under 10 mins maybe that's a reason why so many operators 'can't see' the reward availabilty we can...
Yes, AS F awards seats have been classed as QF J for over a year now. I have found the release of AS awards seats on QF kind of strange. For the route I was watching a few months ago they would release a lot of J seats at an odd time of day like 4 or 5pm and they would be available for a few...
After updating app on iOS I can see the ticket number but I don't believe it is live, I think it's the ticket no when booking was imported. I've had a few time changes and re-ticketings over the past week and it shows an old ticket no and the old flight times until I add the booking ref again...
BA have just recently restricted the rewards flights available to non-Avios airlines like QF. Some routes seems to have some availability and others none at all.
Definitely don't ignore it. I would call QF and accept the change and ask if it needs to be reticketed. Also check on the RJ website after you accept the the change that it still has a ticket number. As there is a time limit for QF to reticket a booking; there is a time limit for a change to be...
It is very difficult to add a domestic leg at the start but not impossible. I think it's worth trying by calling multiple times when you have spare time and asking. It might be a waste of time but I think it's worth a shot.
Do you have ticketed MEL-SYD on the same booking, because I thought once...
Ignoring the highly ambitious 34,997 miles (QF don't use GCM to calculate miles).
Rule 14.3.5 A Classic Flight Reward Itinerary must contain no more than one departure from the city or country of first departure on that Itinerary.
It is possible to add a domestic leg. I believe it's just the OS call centres believe you can't, at least that's what they have told me but when I recently had contact with the AKL call centre and asked they said you can and added the flight for me. You can also do it when you book online.
I just had that problem on Saturday where the agents can't see the seats showing on QF website I think on the 6th call the agent could see and add the flight. Don't they all have the same reservation system?
I had great difficulty adding an AS J flight to my OWA. Despite a number of flights showing on QF & BA with J seats the cc operators insisted there were none only Y. After 4 calls finally one could see J seats but then she couldn't add them to my booking, she said they mustn't exist. I was...
I just saw this one too and think it will be my next CC, as my 70K from Suncorp just hit my account. I'm running out of banks as I have to wait a few months for the 12 months from closing a CC to tick over.
