Tokyo return flight was a point upgrade. In regards to the comments on the late luggage - I dont live in Fiji - my return ticket was the following Friday (different ticket). I do note in some countries there is a time limit on late luggage hence my question if this applies to Qantas. Thanks

This happened to us in Sept, booked the 2 br club villa, what they gave us instead of the upgrade was dinner at the restaurant for everyone and spa vouchers.

Yes check the airline points calculator for points required. Note it does take a few days to transfer the points to the airlines.

I use them frequently 3-4 times per month, but on very quick short hauls - Kl to Yangon - Singapore - Mumbai etc... Your certainly not paying for the food or entertainment on these flights.

Interesting - I live in KL and MH fares are pretty expensive. Im currently doing runs on Sri Lanka Air from KL to CMB to DBX return business for $1300 approx and 320 SC. MH return to DBX is around $1k (economy).
