My points and the 30k bonus points hit last week. In some ways I was a little disappointed because if I had known they were going to hit so soon I probably would have taken the status credits which will have kept me at gold for another year.

I have got my first statement on 2 May, it showed 25K points (plus 1321 points earned in the statement period), but these have not come across to Velocity in the time since. I am still getting velocity points from 7 eleven and even the status credits from a flight last night have already...

I am interested to know this as well. I am currently Virgin Gold with a year ending in July. I won't get enough status credits to retain but with the 250 from this offer I would.

After playing around for quite some time, I was able to get 2 business class seats from LHR to SYD on QF2 (and then to Brisbane) for 5 September. Confirmation and e-ticket came through only an hour or two after. But the website was a schmozzle. We will work out later how to get to Europe...

Have a look at your credit card site. Has your available balance gone down? If there is a transaction, the booking reference might even be in that.

All good advice and I will print it out, however as this visit will be straight after a Sydney to Abu Dhabi flight, one would expect I won’t be the only Virgin Gold looking to enter the lounge.

Perhaps it is the AFF system because it seems to have hyperlinked my comment to Etihad when I didn’t do anything to set it up.

Agree, great advice although the hyperlinks that Serfly kindly puts into his posts only seem to go to the Etihad home page not the specific information he is quoting. There must be something go on with my devices.
