When withdrawing cash in Thailand the ATM's have started doing the currency conversion up front and at a terrible rate. It defaults to the ATM doing the currency conversion but will ask if you would like to change it. Easy to miss though if you are not looking for it.

I have booked a QF J class award. The flights are on Cathay The ticket is showing CX flight numbers though I know that I get lounge access, but am I allowed to take a guest into the Brisbane International QF lounge as well?

Maybe if they introduced gold and platinum Frequent Bus Riders some of you guys wouldn't care how much you spent to achieve it.

QF is really only any good if you are a very regular domestic customer. Over priced flights and lacks a good international network. VA similar SQ is good as long as you are racking up over 50000 miles a year, there are some domestic benefits on Virgin as well. The best option I know of to...
