I cant find any cheap fares out of Melb to Lax return (~7days) via scanner, kayak, opdo, matrix, expedia au/us/br or anything else for that matter. Everywhere im looking QF93 appears to be ~$1500. Can anyone see this cheaper anywhere else? Need to book soon.

hmmm tried again and they wouldnt budge so I ended up booking with them ended up $130something. I simply (speaking for myself) couldnt justify paying 2.5-3+ times that amount one way to fly Qantas (as QFF) or Virgin or Jetstar's own rates. Price beat was painless and straight forward...
