That observation was never up for debate. It was a tongue in cheek acknowledgement of that very specific and rather simple resolution ….. and the rather unnecessary and irrelevant griping of several others including non-VM experience(s).

Lol - I also sent that back too! I was just really let down by the Dragons Blood. It was a bland offering IMO, very little body or complexity for what should have been an ultra-premium. Maybe a bit of high price bias influenced my expectations too? I
And how did that happen? I’ve been platinum for 6+ years and status has zero to do with status credits earnings, only points... unless you missed a booking window opportunity or booked a lesser value flight, I call bulls**t
