Melbourne Airport layover | check luggage in early off international flight?

Hi team - apoligies for the basic question but being BNE based I haven't arrived into MEL from overseas for a long time. Later this year I arrive into MEL from HKG on QF. It is an early morning arrival. I have a QF flight back to BNE late afternoon on a DIFFERENT Ticket. I realise I'll have to...

Mate I think I read somewhere in past few days that Boeing was open again for tours. https://www.flyingmag.com/boeing-factory-tour-to-resume-starting-next-week/ 5th of October looks like they are restarting :)

Is Citi Plus still the best option for overseas cash?

I am in Estonia now and withdrew some Euros less than an hour ago with no fees. This will probably be the last trip with this card though :(

Bankwest Transaction account - Earn 10,000 bonus Qantas Points

Those were fun days :) They said they were going to close my account in writing but never did and I still use it as my main transaction account today (less running any automation scripts though)!

I have had the most torrid week when I stupidly decided to add one more final flight to my OWA booking. Started last Monday, spoke to phone agents every day until Friday trying to get things ticketed. Watched on weekend as a couple of flights dropped off and another went to 'wait-listed'. Then...

Heard a new one from an agent today... We can't downgrade you from Business to Economy. Trying to push out a simple QF flight to later in the day and there is only Economy available. BNE-SYD so I am fine to go Economy. Serenity Now.

Citibank Plus - No Fee No Overseas Transaction Fee Account

Aren't Suncorp trying to sell their Banking arm to ANZ? I think their Credit Cards were handled by Citibank so now probably NAB too?

It also depends on the currency you book in :( I am up to 10 weeks as I stupidly booked in Yen before I changed things around. I poked them via messenger at 8 weeks but still waiting and the non-AUD currency was the reason they gave me.

Legoland. The real one in Denmark. Plus Germany and Switzerland

What a great trip report :) I was really only snooping on the Legoland leg as I went there is 2010 and was curious to see it again. Must be a Legoland thing as I remember despite 3 months in Euro on that trip, that was the only really wet day. Of course when I was outdoors all day! I am...

Yep call again. I have been told twice in the past week that you can't add additional flights to a booking once it has been ticketed! I don't have the heart to argue and if they don't know that, I don't really want that person playing around with my booking. At least the call wait queues are a...

Wow - that's great to know :) I have avoided their HEL-TLL flights for years not really looking into it. That really changes things for me knowing I will also now have TLL in play as well as HEL :) Thanks again.

Hi all, Despite having managed to book a OWA this year and having an amazing time in Europe over Euro Summer - I am still a bit rusty after a few years on OWA and have a quick question. I am in the process of working out next year's trip and it is mostly booked in :) I have some leeway I...
