Flew on JQ to Singapore late last year.
Online check in, boarding pass in the Apple wallet.
Hand luggage only, and nil issues going through at all.
Enjoy the extra lounge time.
Came across this on my morning scroll of the well known medical journal of Twitter and thought some here may find it useful.
In-flight medical emergencies — ICU One Pager
I'm a big fan of the one pagers as I'm lazy. I also really like the reference lists they include on the websites.
I would say it depends on how old they are and how long was the flight.
Short trip you could probably wait a bit for a grab with the kids keeping it together.
Long haul, would rather minimise the waiting and get straight to the destination.
Do they need car seats or not?
The experience...
Just stayed at the Hilton in Perth. $10 extra to eat breakfast in the restaurant regardless. Free to eat in the lounge (as a diamond).
Nothing said until checkout.
Most expensive bowl of baked beans I've paid for (the only reason why I wanted to eat in the restaurant)
I would want a bassinet seat - 23DEFG or 45DEFG.
11mo may be too big for the bassinet, but the extra room in front of the seat on the ground is very helpful to put bags and easily switch out activities for the kids to play with.
Just flew on the this type for the first time the other day.
Not much in the way of width, so I would suggest 28B or E as you could 'spill' over to the vacant spot next to you.
Interesting experience with my mother in law
QC expired in December 2022 - clearly shows this on her digital and physical card.
However, it still shows QC on her digital card (despite the date of expiry) and also showed on her boarding pass.
Scanned boarding pass and nil issues with entry to the...
MRT is the train. Expo is the next stop and the hotel looks to be across the road.
If you have too much luggage to take on a train one stop and a short walk, then you'll have too much luggage for a grab.
Another option is to book a private car to collect you. Last time I did this, I used...
I would just catch the MRT to Expo and walk from there.
Would probably be quicker then organising a Grab family and waiting for the pickup.
In my experience, the 'car seat's' are just the mifold which I wouldn't feel super comfortable with for a 16month old.
Some more personal accounts (topical for the above conversations).
My health service has been giving the vaccine since day 1, and I've only ever seen one actual anaphylaxis. This person had anaphylaxis to the first Pfizer dose, so was referred to the ID/Immunology clinic at my health service...
Forgot to mention, the following morning after the second dose I got an email from myGov saying my COVID-19 immunisation status has updated.
Logged in and first option is to download immunisation history and this is what is shows:
Second dose completed of the Pfizer.
Was on holidays at the 21 day mark, so second dose was on day 27 at around 0900 in the morning.
Dead arm as usual later that afternoon.
A colleague of mine called in sick for a night shift, so I covered that and worked through it without any problems...
Flew BNE-MEL on Sunday.
For a vegan option, the halloumi was removed from the quinoa salad. Not all bad, and certainly better than anything VGML we have experienced on VA before.
(Excuse the feet on the bulkhead, wife was feeding an infant at the time of photo).
It is quite confusing.
6 month paid parental leave letter is the minimum requirement for Qantas, and supposed to get up to 18months extension
Firstly she got an extension for 2 years (2018-2020). Then somehow has gained another 2 years (2020-2022) without losing any status credits (in fact...
