In a nutshell - yes. I don't believe QF allows a points balance to go into negatives, and hence any attempt at reversal from BW will fail.

My multiple card solution was a lot more low Tech (and below the radar). Bank account for my brother, sister, mum, dad. Handballed 2 grand between each to avoid the annual fee, and I even paid all the family telstra bills. It may have breached the spirit of the product, but at no stage did it...

Points were earned within the rules. Bankwest realised the rules they created were advantageous to us and unprofitable for them. Closing the accounts was their escape clause. Fraud? Obtaining financial advantage by deception? Spare me.

Has anyone ever had an instance where points that were incorrectly credited to your QFF account, through either an airline or a bank, have been reversed back to the source?

ditto, I've been used to points being credited quite regularly on about the 5th of the month. Nothing yet, but I'm reluctant to rock the boat by having a real living person looking at my account which has had 50 one-cent transactions a day for the last 18 months.

Here's the thing...I've paid an aussie paypal merchant through the account I made, even though they didn't seem to offer it (their graphic only showed paypal MC and Visa). I convert the funds to AUD when I pay. It makes no difference for US sellers, as I pay in USD anyway, but for Australian...
