Is there any update on this problem? I tried to book BNE-MEL-HKG today. BNE-MEL and MEL-HKG available separately, and I used multicty tool to price out, but errored out just on payment. Called Qantas, and similarly, they said there isn't availability. Is this still an issue in limbo?

Ah I see. It seems that they can't piece together an itinerary anymore. Will have to wait for an Aeroplan points sale and fingers crossed the award is still there by then!

Hi all, anyone have an update on the screenshot booking method? I recall vaguely somewhere that said this method of booking is no more, but I just can't find it at the moment. I can see an itinerary on Thai Airways through Aeroplan from Paris to Hong Kong via Bangkok but it just doesn't show...

Also around the time they are doing a massive sale for around $5.5K return!

Thanks all. In the end, they went to the airport and found a few people in the same situation. They were rebooked to leave the day after on exactly the same itinerary. All in all, a good result!

In CBR QP. Staff periodically went around during dinner time with brioche hotdogs (stingy ones though, they cut the sausage in half!) and Christmas pudding. I guess I should be grateful I get more than the sloppy Cauliflower Mac and cheese.

YMMV, but I have seen a person turned away with Priority Pass because the lounge was too full even with just Business/upgraded pax. This was during an extended delay/cancellation for a lot of rex flights, so not common, but still a possibility.

Hoping to use this as a last resort. IIRC they booked with the AMEX Platinum Edge card.

Hi all, A bit of a panic post here. Have some family members that were booked to travel from Brisbane to Hong Kong tomorrow connecting in Port Moresby. Unfortunately, they just got an email saying PX8 the flight to Hong Kong has been cancelled, but was offered no alternative flight. The kicker...

One thing I appreciate is their competent call centre. They just "get it" and can easily understand what a more complex itinerary looks like and apply the correct rules of the program. I dream of the day I could say the same about Qantas. Now if only they would make it 24/7!
