Hey all, hoping I can get some advice how surface sectors (or flights organised separately outside of the RTW) are treated wrt to stopovers.
Ie if I fly into JFK, stay for a couple of days then take a seperate flight (outside of the RTW booking) to LAS before then continuing on to Mexico after...
Yeah, looks like gold status doesn’t offer anything anyway. Pricing was exactly the same for a booking I was looking at, both logged in as gold and not logged in as a member
I am ALL gold so signed up through the link to match to Gold. Got an email saying welcome to sixt Gold, but I didn’t even need to submit any substantiation of being ALL Gold ! Maybe I should have gone through the platinum match link haha

Another question - how long do others usually wait for nights/status points to be credited to your account ? It says that points will be credited 7 days after checkout, but I checked out of a hotel last Monday and still nothing in my account
Hmm ok. I wonder if I could possibly break the stay into 2 bookings. Ie 27th-31st and then 31st-1st in a separate booking. Realise it may mean I have to do a checkout/checkin during the stay and prob go through the hassle of changing rooms but might be a way to get around it

I need a few nights stay to retain ALL Gold by the end of the year, Considering an end of year stay between Dec 27th - Jan 1st. Does anybody know if the nights stayed in Dec will count for this years status retention, even if I’m checking out in January ?

Anyone have any experience on when American Airlines make their reward seats available to book through Qantas ? I can see there is availability on SeatSpy, but seats aren’t showing on Qantas website yet. Route is FCO-JFK
