I’ve just booked SYD-LHR return for less than $6,000 thankyou very much.😀 I’m confused re baggage allowance. For business class it states “2 pieces (32kg/70lb)” Does anyone know does that mean 2 pieces up to 32 kilos each or 2 pieces 32kg total? Thanks in advance.

Can I please confirm with more knowledgeable people here (as too long a wait on Velocity phone line) if it says on my account to upgrade to Platinum “6 of 8 eligible sectors to upgrade”, does that mean I need to fly 2 more sectors or 6 more sectors? Sitting at 985 of 1000 status credits so...

I’ve done quarantine once by myself and once with hubby. My hubby worked at least 14 hours a day, so might as well have been by myself 😉

I commute between Aus and PNG. This will be my second time travelling out of Aus since Covid. Took 45 mins to get permission. Said husband was working on an important project, I usually reside there. Departing mid Dec. Said wouldn’t be back till March. Only sent copy of my residence visa.

Sorry just No problem for me to leave Aus. I left Aus in early June with special permission to return to PNG- I have residency there. Hubby will have 2-3 weeks break and he will go back. I’ll stay here due to grandchild due in Nov, then I will go back.

No choice at all, and no menu to know what’s coming either. If you have dietary requirements ie vegan etc... you tell them upon arrival. But I must say the meals have been very good, just the sandwiches everyday get boring. We did order pizza one night as a change as where we live in PNG there...

Depends on hotel as how good a time you have. We are on our last day of quarantine in a hotel in Cairns after flying in from PNG. Internet is fine. Husband has continued to work 13-14 hr days. We have a balcony but we do not get to go for a walk. A friend in Brisbane hotel gets to go for a walk...

I stayed at Grand Papua Hotel. Was lucky enough to get water views on 8th floor, all rooms I believe have balcony. Overlooked the road which was very interesting people watching. Food was great and plentiful. Only complaint it was never hot. Food was served on proper china and metal cutlery. I...
