You will be pushing it! I did a recent YUL-PHL-LAX (AA) then LAX-BNE (QF) on separate tickets. I tried via Twitter to see if the bags could be interlined but received a polite no. It was a 4+ hour layover in LAX which I was a bit nervous with due to this. in the end, the flight left YUL on time...

A bit slow to respond to this but we were caught up with this flying from BNE-SYD-SFO. QF could not issue are boarding passes from SYD-SFO in BNE. But all good when we arrived in SYD even with a 50 minute transfer from T3 to T1 !

I received the offer last night - currently I'm Velocity Red. Not sure if I will take up the offer as I'm struggling to retain Qantas PS this year and all my flights for an upcoming month long US/Canada holiday are with AA or QF
