I think you're right. I can see a number of Chinese carriers dropping prices. But it can only go so far. They're still not going to put birds in the air at a consistent loss. We'll see.

I don't think my assessment was helped by the quite perfunctory service on the red-eye; one of the disadvantages of having such a large J section on the top deck.
I really did feel like I was being processed through the flight - in stark contrast to the great service on the outgoing B777 SYD-SIN...
Just did SIN-MAN both ways in April and have to say I didn't mind the footwell so much.
My main observation would have to be that the A350 made the A380 (SIN-SYD) look positively tired.
well, it was good. The "small" cubby for the feet wasn't so bad at all. Slept very comfortably and didn't feel like my feet were constricted.
The diagonal positioning of the cubby, however, meant that to put your feet up when sitting means being angled across the seat.
going to be on the SQ A350 in J in a few days. I understand the hard product suffers from (relatively) restricted foot space. I'll be sure to ensure the soft makes up for it :)
