Sorry to bring up an old thread but I am having supreme issues finding any availability to NA with Velocity. Is it a mirage? Flexible with Departure/Arrival was looking May 2024. Any tips?!? Was thinking maybe going the call centre route and looking at via HNL ?

This has been my 'keeper' card for a few years now, suits me well so hopefully they don't get rid of it at some point.

Just bumping this. Has anyone else had success doing this? On SQ website I can see availability for certain J flights e.g SQ242 SYD-SIN, however I can't see it through Velocity website, VA call centre said they can't see it either. (I'm VA Gold fwiw)

in August we flew MXP-SIN in J and when boarding it looked as though everyone had disembarked as J cabin was empty - or perhaps the flight had been empty BCN-MXP. That said, surely SQ will assist given the wheelchair situation.

Yes i just had a look and the best i can muster is SYD-CDG via US on united metal for about $8000 return in Y! Its cheaper and faster to pay for Y+ with SQ - at least half the price

Perhaps its just when I’m looking (July 2023, partially flexible dates, SYD-CDG). Happy to keep investigating it as it would line up nicely for maximising the Status match (*G for 18 months)

When I use United booking site, partner airline flights show as 1 PQF per leg. Is the consensus that wouldn't count towards the Status challenge? Does it have to be on UA metal? Looking at flights next July and UA metal is horrendously expensive vs partner airlines...

Late to the party here but similar situation. I was able to get the ANZ Black once I had three months of Australian pay slips. Have never been able to get St George approval, nor Vodafone.

Was booked BA revenue ticket for Mid June. They cancelled flight. Options are: Reschedule, Voucher or Call to Discuss. Called right on opening time of call centre (8am GMT) and got through to a helpful rep instantly, refund received about 3 days later.

Interesting. so does this imply you get a refund of 238 but then they charge 122??
