I'll be flying Malaysia Airlines on economy SYD-KUL in a couple of weeks. I'm a Qantas Gold FF and with MAS now a Oneworld member, I was wondering if I'll have access to their lounges in Sydney and/or KL. If not, would I be allowed into the Qantas or other OW alliance lounges though flying MAS?

Unfortunately it looks like the ticket was a non-refundable fare unless cancelled by Qantas. I'm still curious to know if I accepted a flight credit whether I'm required to book the exact same itinerary as the original booking.

Hi, I just tried to link a Qantas lounge pass to a QF flight departing Singapore next week. The message that flashed up was "This lounge is temporarily closed". Can anyone flying from Singapore the last day or so or even today confirm this? Thanks.

Different question ... as far as I can ascertain, there are no Qantas lounges in SFO, only 2 partner lounges (Cathay Pacific and Air France-KLM). Can a complimentary Qantas lounge pass be used in either of these lounges?

Yes, it's a possibility I had considered but as you said, the fares might discourage this. As it is, the current fares to Canada are already crazy enough, plus my Mrs will be travelling on this trip too and this idea can end up being messy. Thanks for the suggestion though.
