Can confirm you’re now able to use the autogate immediately after registration. Process took a few minutes for biometrics and then worked on the new machines straight away. No line at 5PM on a weekday.

Can confirm. Used the Singapore Citizen/PR eGates successfully in T1 and T3 within the past fortnight. There was a short line for the new (white) eGates so a welcome benefit.

Food on QF1 SYD-SIN was reasonably good. Thai fish cakes were cooked perfectly, though the beef fillet was well done as is to be expected.

QF 551 BNE-SYD 18:40 Departure Choice between the Black Pepper Beef with Rice or Prosciutto Salad. Went with the former and it was good with lean cuts of beef. Approach into SYD wasn’t half bad either.

Thanks to this thread, I snagged a SYD-SIN roundtrip in SQ J for the peak Lunar New Year period in January. Good to see the world returning to a semblance of normal.
