OK, so it is now clear the good people at Virgin Money read AFF.
I just booked a flight for tomorrow and when I logged in I note my 30,000 points and 200 SC have been added today. So one week since the statement period closed.
Thankyou V money and V locity.
How long after your statement arrived until your points appeared in Velocity Kam?
Mine has been a week now and nothing. Have checked my number matches as well.
I have never had this delay before from any CC account into FF account.
Possibly, I just am not sure being that it is the next day. I have not actually tried in this exact situation. I have just collected and re checked for what ever reason.
I have also used vetroblu (formally Aurum?)
Very good accommodation and the shuttle used to be prompt. Has been over a year probably now since I last stayed there.
The last few times I have been through they were booked out and have used Sanno Marracoonda. Not as good and shuttle is a bit...
Ok thanks for this, so if I just waltz on through to security and immigration I would get turned back? Or do you mean the online check-in does not actually complete?
Whilst I cannot answer your question specifically, I can give the following info from last week.
I wandered through the international terminal last week on my way to domestic. I found the QR check in counters for the 1600 departure and it was completely deserted. This was around 1130 local from...
My experience with anything CITI related is that there seems to be an unofficial, roughly six month period, where if you have had one of their cards a person will be automatically rejected.
I applied for this back around November and rejected. Applied a month ago and approved.
I have had a few AMEX over the years, even during the depths of Covid when I was on a casual income. Very easy application and approval.
Westpac told me they do not approve CC's unless on a full time income(their words at the time).
I have been back at my full time job for 18 months and...
So, I am in the same position as you KPC, I was just approved for The Flyer on Friday and just saw this now.
From memory last year I was in a similar position and then later received a random 30K points that I was not sure where they came from. IE, this came through just after I had applied for...
That is all just part of Darwin and the Top End. Especially this time of year and that is why I love it.
I lived in Jabiru during the wet of 07/08. Absolutely amazing.
If you read the entire thread, the point I was making was in agreement with the OP that VA j is not much better the QF economy in an extra leg room row.
Doubt it. The majority in the Pilbara are around 2km. Newer ones even longer.
The Fokker is way more comfortable than the 320.
This will be way worse.
Most of these flights are two hours jammed in the seat. Should be illegal.
Fair point, it should not really be that hard to wire in a plug at each seat.
They really do not seem to care about providing any kind of service whatsoever.
Agreed. (Although the age of the plane is irrelevant as I am sure all the required maintenance is complete.) The cabin itself is getting a bit shabby but then what else will they do on a 737?
I upgraded with VA on this exact route a couple of months ago. Was in 1F.
From memory the service was...
