Well that's a first!
Apparently one leg has the two available reward seats but they need to be released to Qantas to complete my OWA itinerary and allow taxes to be calculated and tickets issued.
All I need to do is phone up said carrier and ask them to do it - unbelievable.
We're getting closer - just an error message when it comes to calculating taxes.
Let's see if the support team can work out what's going on and I get a phone call back.
Incidentally, has anyone had any experience of with the domestic leg interfering with the availability of international...
I'm going to call it and say this has been my most frustrating experience with trying to book a Oneworld Award yet.
True, I am after 2 business class tickets so maybe my expectations are perhaps high. But I'm happy to work around Qantas's distinct lack of classic award seat availability in and...
Am I correct that Oneworld never ever properly replaced their excellent interactive point to point route map from years ago which showed both destinations, direct and indirect airline and routing options, departure and arrival times and associated miles ?
It was similar to...
Thanks for the info- about to jump head on into my first OWA since COVID and maybe you might save me a few new injuries.
Although the idea of phoning to find seats already fills me with dread

Nice job getting in and out if Australia via North and South America.

Speaking of, does anyone have any views as to whether Qantas will grant me boring silver status if I earn those elusive few remaining credits a week after my anniversary date?
I asked my colleague who was born in Jakarata about his views. He was bemused anyone would visit the city as a tourist destination for a few days. Where are you
trending towards in terms of a destination ?
I'm finding KLM business class around those prices from KUL to CGK - timing means an evening in the hotel lounge would not be possible. Always so hard to book the perfect trip.
Never been to Indonesia so thought it might be something slightly different. I've been around Malaysia and can't think of where I'd want to go for a couple of days out of KL again.
With the lack of Qatar Business Reward availability I decided to bite the bullet and spend some points on business...
We must be a demographic - I am going through the same consternations. Meeting friends in Singapore and have a couple of days in KL - then looking to spend 3 days somewhere in Sth East Asia. Considered Siem Riep but think I am landing on Jakarta.
