Transfer from velocity to krisflyer if redeeming for SQ flight.

Thanks guys. This year I had most of the kF points that i needed to book a return and was lucky to grab a VFF one way to Europe. Just thinking ahead for possible scenarios next year.

Transfer from velocity to krisflyer if redeeming for SQ flight.

Quick question on points transfer from velocity to krisflyer if redeeming for SQ flight. Recently redeemed points for J flights to Europe on SQ. Flight across was through velocity (121,500 velocity points and $476.00). Return through Krisflyer (133,500 and $95.00) saver would have been cheaper...

    SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

Anyone been to the lounge in ZRH recently? Flying back from there later in the year and haven't been there for some years. Need to find a reasonable hotel near the airport as well. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Passport Renewal / Application - Time Taken?

My point was that the cost of producing an Aussie passport can't be any more than others that have more technology involved and cost half the price! And the time taken is not acceptable. Some foreign Consulates will print your passport while you wait. Half hour appointment to do everything...

Passport Renewal / Application - Time Taken?

I stand corrected. I can't remember where I looked up the price at the time. Security? I don't know for sure about the other European passports, but the Italian passport has a copy of the photo and fingerprints contained in the microchip. That is better security than ours. And as for strength...

Passport Renewal / Application - Time Taken?

The cost of manufacture of a passport should only be a small fraction of it's price. Just did a comparison of a few European countries. Here are approximate prices: The British passport is a rip-off at $450 German $132 French $156 Italian $193 I think the Australian is way overpriced as well!

    SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

Don't know if this is the correct place to post. Mods please move if not. Just looking at flights to Europe next year and noticed that the points required ex PER for J are saver 119,500 and advantage 133,500. Why is it that flights to/from IST is cheaper in saver 81,500 and more expensive in...

NAB Changes Sign-Up Bonus Exclusion Period from 12 to 18 Months

Spoke with them about reconsidering knockback. No joy. Have since received Suncorp card and may be able to reapply for NAB card in 6 months (so they say).

NAB Changes Sign-Up Bonus Exclusion Period from 12 to 18 Months

Got knocked back for a NAB Rewards Signature Card after initial approval. I have just sent a closure letter for my NAB Qantas Rewards Signature Card as in speaking to them today they suggested that the fact that this card was still coming up on my account may have been an issue. Has anyone had...

NAB Changes Sign-Up Bonus Exclusion Period from 12 to 18 Months

So if I have understood correctly, if I've just closed a NAB Qantas Signature card and apply for a NAB Rewards Card I can still get the bonus points??

    The Qantas Newbie Questions Thread

Thanks. I'll try that. Hopefully I can figure out how to redeem some points effectively. Would like to fly end August 2024 to MXP, ZRH, FCO or CDG in that order or alternatively anywhere in Europe.

    The Qantas Newbie Questions Thread

Hi. Just have a newbie question. To search reward J flights Aus to Eur and return do you need to be logged into your account? If not logged in you get the same daily flight to LHR and then onto your destination and sometimes to HEL if you search departures from SIN. Thanks.
