The wynns and saltram would also make ok gifts for wine nerds! :) Especially the 1859 - I've had past vintages (but not the 2022) and it has been a fantastic value wine, and friends have also really enjoyed it.

For those in Canberra (and those who can get the website working) a couple of stores have Freycinet Pinot Noir for around $40 after cashback (Dickson and City). A friend of mine today also had the same problem with the BWS website. The website just keeps getting worse and worse. I'm not sure...

This was my experience too. I have some 2017 Blackwell under cork, and it is fantastic. I also tried the 2018 - a good wine, but not as good as the 2017.

Yeah I opened one tonight too. I found it has a certain sweetness to it which I'm not sure I like. Easy to drink I guess, but not an age worthy wine. My brother loved it - I found it ok (and I guess for $15 or whatever it is fine).
