    Thru-check luggage

Hey guys, an entirely 'hypothetical' question of course: If I was to book a one way ticket that went SYD-BKK-FRA(TG J)-Central Asia (LH J), that had a 7.5hr transit in FRA, do you think I'd have any issues only checking my bags through to FRA instead of the Central Asian airport? Would be...

Mail out time for new membership cards?

Just received my PS welcome pack after jumping up from NB in early Jan. Took just under 4 weeks to receive my welcome pack from SCs posting and status change.

Sydney to Guam the long way

Had a look into the diving trips, but not really my thing - prefer more of a museum, food, roadtrip kind of holiday! Paid $161 a night all inclusive for the Hilton.

Sydney to Guam the long way

Apologies for the delay in posting the next instalment - have been stranded without a AUS to US power adapter, but have been able to charge my iPhone using the TV so haven't rushed to obtain the adaptor for my MacBook. The UA leg HKG-GUM (dated 737, projector IFE, US Domestic First class seats...

Sydney to Guam the long way

I promised to do a trip report on my latest USDM redemption of SYD-BKK-HKG (TG) HKG-GUM-HKG (UA) HKG-BKK-SYD (TG) (almost all in first, and for just 40,000 miles). I apologise for the lack of extensive photography on the Thai Airways legs... the almost endless supply of Dom and caviar was my...

US Dividend Miles - post your SUCCESSFUL award bookings here.

The first five agents inputted my flights, verified that the seats were available, then said 'and I'll check just that that's legal' (some figured it out themselves, others called the ticketing desk), and I politely ended the call. Awkward moment when I got No 2 agent again on No 5 call. No 6...

US Dividend Miles - Award Booking Questions and General Discussion

Re: US Dividend Miles Buy/Gift Miles 100% bonus - Cheap way for F/J *A Awards Hi all, Bit of a stupid question - looking to book a return trip to GUM for departure within a week or so. The availability of award itinerary is confirmed on every sector, and it routes via SIN and NGO. I've made...

    Done4 ticketing in RUH

The oneworld tool won't let you pay online for departures ex RUH. You need to contact the local airline office of your first departing airline (likely either RJ or BA) and quote your booking reference in order to make payment.

    Turkish Airlines for Australia

Agree it's ridiculous, but 'Eurobusiness' is a fairly standard phenomenom across most Euro carriers unfortunately.

    Turkish Airlines for Australia

Calm down prozac - before you left, did you ever do any research on what the 'Euro Business' product is? Fly practically any carrier intra-Europe in J and you'll be experiencing the same thing as what you did on TK.

HKG transit - checked baggage advice

QF agent that advised this. If it was a case of paying the "Hong Kong immigration tax/fees"... I'm probably thinking it might just be worth rechecking bags.
