I worked up the courage to click on the "change booking" button and this is what I get - a permanent error message - no matter how many times I log in and try... Looks like the system is designed to force you to either cancel the booking or ring the call centre :(

Follow up... I rang Qantas again last Wednesday 18th and spent over an hour on the phone to an agent. My hearing is not that good nowadays, but I am certain I was told that Qantas would make a change to the booking and that I would get an email confirming that. Here we are nearly a week later...

Thanks for all the replies... I managed to contact a call centre. They couldn't help - except to offer "an alternative" - which was to cancel the ticket. I asked to be rung back by a supervisor and this actually happened last Friday. He couldn't understand the problem at first - obviously Alan...

Just got an email from Qantas advising me that the second leg of our flight LHR-HKG-BNE has been moved to before the first leg. It is one booking. Any suggestions as to the best way to get this fixed without having to spend multiple hours on hold to a CC? Thanks in advance

Thanks everyone for your ideas. I ended up with J class SIN to LHR and Y class LHR to SIN on points with BA, plus Y travel BNE to SIN with chance of an upgrade on QF. Cheers
