I've got access to Qatar platinum so can see 361 days out and there is nothing except some flexi business from Doha to ANZ

I haven't had any luck seeing anything available from Doha anywhhere in ANZ from August to october. Might need to stick with SQ.

I've been checking Doha to ANZ (and reverse) every day for a month or so for this time next year and haven't seen a single seat come up once except.. for one seat from Doha to Brisbane...

you can book first class where its available on select aircrafts (I think 777's and then the suites on A380) however there is rarely any availability for this. From my experience if you call up the platinum hotline they will only offer you seats that are available via the velocity website...

thank you, currently showing $3000 USD for business upgrade which I can't justify. Managed to get economy plus for $120 USD... couple extra inches of leg room will be worth it for the 14 hours ahead of me. Hoping when checking in tomorrow there might be an even better offer for business!

Has anyone flown United recently as virgin platinum and managed to score any upgrades? Current upgrade showing for business is $3500 USD (insane) so hoping it reduces in the check in period. Flying in 3 weeks and looking like a 50% full flight

Has anyone gotten any updates on whether its possible to disembark in Melbourne if you have checked luggage? I spoke with the staff of qatar online here and they said you are able to offload your bags but still seems risky

Ah damn, yeah I will be travelling with checked bags after spending a month in europe thats all. I actually spoke to Qatar's service desk about this and they said I could ask the baggage services to remove my bags in melbourne from the aeroplane.. seems risky/not possible though?

Getting to melb international airport earlier than 3 hours before flight to Singapore. Wondering if anyone has had any luck checking their bags earlier than 3 hours at the airport with qantas. I’ve got platinum status if that helps. Keen to spend some time in the first lounge.

Does anyone know if a stay in a hotel in Australia qualifies as 1 night stay for the fast track? Or does it have to be international.
