Cant see that happening. We will be at a hotel thats closer to the domestic - so will require a shuttle or uber.

Hi Can anyone tell me if its possible to drop bags after self check in the night before your flight. We are planning to stay in the airport hotel and if we could avoid some of the current airport chaos by dropping the night before, it would be great. Our flight QF81 to SIN at 11:10am. Thanks Lisa

Spent two hours on the phone to QF - they couldn’t offer any alternates nor upgrade either of my QF bookings. So I am thankful I had a backup. DH has agreed we will go via SIN.

As expected Cathay flights were just cancelled.

So my flights HKG- FCO on August 27 were just cancelled. Interestingly - no word on the SYD-HKG leg.

The original CX flights were 159000 points each and 625.00 total in taxes The SIN transit was 144400 and $376 The BKK transit was 129700 and $338 Each of these has the QF sector in Y and I have requested an upgrade I think that was 58000 points. I didn’t really look any more than that, Luckily...

The problem is booking flights through the QF system - there is no field for middle name. I had this issue a few years back and was panicked about it but all was fine. This time I have put both my names in the first name field and hoping that won’t throw up an error. Also same issue with CX...
