Dual citizenship and travelling on non AU passport

Not insurmountable ones however! Sometimes after a red light it's been just to use the manual processing line. It's always worked for me eventually.

Dual citizenship and travelling on non AU passport

I've been told, face-to-face, one-to-one, by passport control officials that I must both check-in and use my Australian passport when leaving Australia to avoid the issue. Sometimes my EU passport allows access to countries without a visa (eg Vietnam) so I do need to show it at check-in. I...

Dual citizenship and travelling on non AU passport

OK. But I can report countless "hiccups" when I have (departing Australia) checked-in with my EU passport (that I would use on arrival) and then used my Australian passport at the gates in Australia. It all works OK but needs a manual intervention.

Dual citizenship and travelling on non AU passport

I have dual citizenship. Australian and an EU country. And two passports. I have managed to leave Australia on my EU passport when I could not present my Australian passport. At the time, my Australian passport was away getting a visa that took about a week or two to process. I could...

Access to MH Platinum Lounge at KLIA

From SYD, the flight will almost certainly arrive at the Satellite. There you have 2 x MH international lounges - "first" and business. Then airside over to the Main is the other MH international lounge - business. At the Main, find the domestic connections transfer path (it's passport...

Access to MH Platinum Lounge at KLIA

AFIAK all of the MH ones. International and domestic if you have a valid forward Boarding Pass. I've done it in the past. That's if you don't have checked luggage to collect. For MHi to MHd I think it goes straight through (not need to collect). You do need to allow time to get to the...

Qantas Business Rewards to introduce annual fees?

It's all because I first read it here: https://www.executivetraveller.com/news/qantas-club-lounge-price-increase The bits about Qantas Business Rewards seemed to be an add-on to the main story about Qantas Club fee increases. As a LTG, I don't need Qantas Club. But I do have Qantas Business...

Qantas Business Rewards to introduce annual fees?

Yep. And that's where I first read about it! :(

Qantas Business Rewards to introduce annual fees?

Right! Still, it's a pretty poor way to present those fees under the heading: "Qantas Business Rewards membership: new members" It seems to have fooled Executive Traveller too: "As for the Qantas Business Rewards program, joining fees go from $99 to $129, with annual membership fees...

Qantas Business Rewards to introduce annual fees?

There always was a one-off joining fee. But it was often free to join. But AFAIK, there never been a annual fee. That seems to be confirmed even here: https://www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/qantas-business-rewards-free-join/ So what's all this...

Cash or Card? Countries where you still need cash.

I went into a local pub in London a few months ago and it was card only. I actually wanted to used up some cash that time!
