I love Globetrotter, one of the few "luxury" luggage brands, which are actually designed to be checked in. Once I discovered them, have not gone back - they just last. my 2 cents.

I do hope the MPC D benefit continues - have used it a number of times, and is definitely a good benefit. If it was a permanent, or long term deal - is a great benefit which would make allot of people continue to renew. If anyone from Amex is reading this, pass the message up the chain.

I transferred last year, and have been of two minds. Found it almost impossible to redeem on VA partner airlines, and redeemed with great difficulty to HK. VA dont allow one way redemptions, dont allow changes without massive charges and point penalties, and seems to have very limited...

I just transferred some spare points to Flying Club to give them a try. I rung to enquire about redeeming on partner airlines, and was told you have to ring and ask for a specific date, they then ask the partner airline, and advise you in 24 hours a yes or no. These seems a really bad system...

My only issue with the credit cards, is the lack of frequent flyer point redemptions. I agree the service is excellent.

Hmmm, I dont think many people use them. I an intreagued by the proliferation of "personal concierge services" more in the US and UK. I wonder how CBA would go with regular ("daily" ) request to organise simple things ?
