That’s enough Velocity points for a one-way Business class flight from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane to Los Angeles (which costs 95,500 Velocity points) or two return Economy class tickets to Bali (which costs 89,200 Velocity points).

The St George Amplify Signature card comes with bonus Amplify points, and the Coles Rewards Mastercard comes with bonus Flybuys points. You can choose to transfer Amplify or Flybuys points directly to Velocity Frequent Flyer, however you cannot transfer more than 138,000 flybuys points to Velocity each year. 200,000 Amplify points is equivalent to 100,000 Velocity points, KrisFlyer miles or Malaysia Airlines Enrich miles. 120,000 Flybuys points are worth 52,200 Velocity points, before any Flybuys transfer bonuses.

It’s also worth noting that the ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures and Coles Rewards Mastercard are both excellent credit cards for overseas travel as they don’t charge any international transaction fees.

The ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures and Amex Velocity Platinum credit cards also come with a free annual return Virgin Australia domestic flight. The Virgin Money Velocity High Flyer card comes with an annual $129 Virgin Australia voucher.
