QF A380 Self Serve Snack Bars - whats in them ?

    Hey guys,

Title pretty much explains it all - I've browsed trip reports but cannot find any mention of whats stocked in these new onboard Snack Bars ?

I presume the usual soft drinks & peanuts - what about alcholol ? Other food ?

Referring to the ones in Economy specifically ..

    What's this and Why?
No alcohol ... Sodas, juice and water are all available.

The bar is stocked with small snacks such as biscuits/cookies, chocolates. Fruit as well.

ISTR it only started to run out of items near the end of the flight - perhaps the crew stopped replenishing it.

Some info and a pic about halfway down, there is also a mockup with real items in the QF museum in Syd.

I used the wrong term - About Qantas - Our Company - Qantas Heritage Collection

Its worth visiting as an alternative to the Qantas Scrum in the QP but hours are limited.

I went to the museum in mid-Dec just to look at the A380 kit, but there was nothing of it there.

Silly question - but kinda related. I'm flying to LA from SYD next month on QF (rebooked from V), is there snack bars in Y on the 744's?

The snack bar is only on the A380 however you will still get the snack on Q bag

Sort of, i assume the USA floghts are same as Europe/Asia on 744's in that usually right down the back gally there is boxes of stuff like chocolate bars etc.... I hope my mind is not playing tricks and thinking of BA but i am 90% sure its QF.

All that long haul in whY on BA/QF just blends in you know.. i prefer to forget the expereince mostly !
