    Checking Star Alliance availability

    HI all
I'm looking to get to GVA next Feb for a ski and I need to check star alliance redemption availability. I signed up for the ANA tool but the *alliance search is blanked out as it says I do not have sufficient points. Is there another way to check *alliance stuff without getting on the phone to Krisflyer?

    Thanks in advance
    Danger UXB

To use the ANA tool you need to first put in a route flown by them... once you have THAT result up you can modify it to what you actually want... and you'll find the "*A" option is then available...

If so, then no real reason why it can't fully supersede the use of individual tools (let alone ANA, which, for some reason, has been a steady workhorse for most *A redemptions, especially US and BD).

It was returning inventory for SIN-EWR direct flights, when recently (and fleetingly and apparently) available.

Agreed, although the presence of QR inventory continues to be a slight irritation ... for the time being.
