Earth Card no points transferring

Just wondering of anyone is having an similar problems with there earth cards, we changed to Earth Platinum in October 2008 and are yet to see any points transfer over to Qantas.

We have called several times and the keep giving us the same answer that it may take 6 -8 weeks and after that thwy will start rolling on monthly. Obviously the six to eight weeks is well an truly up.

Very strange because I also took up the Platimum card in October 2008 and got my 20,000 point bonus 2 weeks later and points due every month.

Sounds like thay have a computer problem.

You need to lodge a missing point complaint with them. I had a similar problem and after complaining they investigated and transfered the missing points.

The problem in my case was that they put my QFF number on one of their systems but not on the other (or smth like that).

Strange that you have no points. I've had some hiccups but there have been some points transferred after every statement. Definitely do a claim for missing points. Also there is another thread here that outlines some of the issues experienced. Will track it down tomorrow when I have a computer again.

I started using the Earth Platinum on 1st Jan, and to date I've received 2 accounts and a corresponding payment of points to my Q FF account. I haven't received the bonus 20,000 points as yet. Interesting to hear that at least one person received them so quickly. I'll leave it the 6 - 8 weeks before following up.

I got the 20k bonus at about 6 weeks.

What seems to happen is that there will be a credit for the base points (1.5/$ plus the 1/$ for QF spend) about 3 days after a statement. This are listed as Earth AMEX Then sometime later the 1.5 bonus points points are credited with a description of Earth Mastercard. My 20k bonus was credited from the Mastercard. There seems to be some manual processing for calculating these "Mastercard" points transfers.

For the OP initially they were crediting 2 points per $ just after the statement but they changed this to 1.5 from 13 November 2009. It's all detailed in that other thread.

I have only been using the Earth Amex card, but hopefully this shouldn't affect the payment of the bonus points. As you mentioned to date I have only been receiving the 1.5 / per $ and expect the bonus 1.5 / per $ to show up 6 - 8 weeks down the track.

I wasn't very clear, sorry. I also only use the Amex but the bonus points are showing up as points from the mastercard. And of course wait 6 to 8 weeks, as you say.

they have managed to get things not quite right every month so far. So I'm waiting to see what happens with the January statement.
